Hope for Migraines. She found immediate relief. Watch Now.
Dr. Young's mission is to provide the best chiropractic care as needed to each patient. His first goal is to address your issues of immediate pain and discomfort, and then additional problems as requested.
Dr. Young uses two main techniques called applied kinesiology and atlas adjusting. They are both gentle, low-force adjusting techniques.
Applied kinesiology uses muscle testing as a guide to adjusting and restoring function to the spine and all the joints of the body. Key disfunctional muscles are determined and treated with each adjustment.
Atlas adjusting uses a specific set of x-rays which are analyzed to determine exactly how to adjust the upper neck. The x-ray equipment is positioned with laser accuracy for precision reproduction. The instrument used is the most gentle and accurate available anywhere, and unique in the state of Kansas.
In addition to both of these techniques, Dr. Young employs corrective cervical traction, specific exercise, micro-current, acupuncture and nutritional advice.
How these techniques are applied is fully explained at the time of your first visit. The first visit is usually 45 minutes to an hour. An examination of you and your particular problem(s) is followed by discussion of recommended course of relief care. Relief care usually consists of a 2 - 6 week treatment plan at a frequency of 1 - 2 times per week to resolve pain and to restore function.
At that time, you can decide what type of care you would like to receive in the future. Some patients like to return only when they are hurting; others like to manage their health with corrective or maintenance care.
"Observational study found that low back pain patients receiving chiropractic care, which typically includes spinal manipulation, are more satisfied than those receiving medical care."

Dr. Michael Young has changed my life. I first heard about him from several of his previous patients. They told me extraordinary success stories and I wanted to see for myself if he could help me. I thank God I did. My shoulder hurt so badly that I couldn't lift my arm. I hadn't felt that kind of pain in my entire life. I had tried many different healing options, but hadn't found any relief.
After one session I felt better almost immediately. Once my shoulder was better, we found that my atlas was out of align. Luckily for me that is his speciality. It's only been 4 to 6 weeks since I've gone to Dr. Young's office, and in that short time I've found myself to be in better health and so have many of my friends and family.
Thanks Dr. Young!
